Football Recap: Spanaway Lake Comes Up Short on the Road Against Stanwood + How To Watch

Spanaway Lake kicked off their season on the road on Friday and hit a couple of potholes. They fell 27-14 to the Stanwood Spartans. The Sentinels were down 27-7 at the end of the third quarter, which was just too much to recover from.

Although Spanaway Lake took the loss, they still got scores from Key'Andre White and Peyton Martin.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Spanaway Lake will head out to face off against Kentwood at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Stanwood, they will venture away from home to square off against Sedro-Woolley at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. This will be the Spartans' first chance to prove their worth in the conference.
