Basketball Game Preview: Platte/Geddes Black Panthers vs. Winner Warriors

Platte/Geddes hasn't had much luck against Winner recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. The Platte/Geddes Black Panthers will take on the Winner Warriors at 7:00 p.m. Both come into the game bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Platte/Geddes is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They secured a 52-48 W over Bon Homme on Friday.

Meanwhile, even if it wasn't a dominant performance, Winner beat McLaughlin 50-44 on Friday. The Warriors haven't had any issues with the Mustangs recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive victory against them.

Platte/Geddes' win bumped their record up to 5-14. As for Winner, the victory got them back to even at 9-9.

Platte/Geddes ended up a good deal behind Winner in their previous matchup back in February of 2024, losing 55-40. Can Platte/Geddes avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
