Purdue Polytechnic has been on the road for four straight, but on Tuesday they'll finally head home. They will welcome the Tindley Tigers at 6:00 p.m. Tindley took a loss in their last match and will be looking to turn the tables on Purdue Polytechnic, who comes in off a win.
Purdue Polytechnic will bounce into Tuesday's contest after beating Indianapolis Crispus Attucks, who they hadn't topped in six consecutive meetings. Purdue Polytechnic blew past Indianapolis Crispus Attucks 3-0 on Monday. The victory was a breath of fresh air for the Techies as it put an end to their three-game losing streak.
The match finished with set scores of 25-8, 25-12, 25-21.
Meanwhile, Tindley was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their 24th straight loss dating back to last season. They fell 2-0 to Oldenburg Academy.
While Tindley had to settle for second, they sure made a game of it, scoring at least five points in every set they played. The final score came out to 25-6, 25-5.
Purdue Polytechnic's win bumped their record up to 9-10. As for Tindley, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-9.
