Basketball Game Preview: Canastota Red Raiders vs. Richfield Springs Central Indians

After both having extra time off, the Canastota Red Raiders and the Richfield Springs Central Indians will dust off their jerseys to take on one another at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Canastota will come in still looking for their first win of the season.

Last Friday, Canastota came up short against Adirondack and fell 52-40.

Meanwhile, Richfield Springs Central was beaten by Dolgeville 61-34 last Saturday. The match marked the Indians' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Canastota's defeat dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Richfield Springs Central, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 3-3.

Canastota strolled past Richfield Springs Central in their previous matchup back in February by a score of 49-30. The rematch might be a little tougher for Canastota since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
