Softball Recap: Franklin Falls Short of Northridge Academy in the Playoffs

Franklin and Northridge Academy squared off in some playoff action on Friday, but Franklin had to settle for second. They fell just short of the Pumas by a score of 3-2. The Panthers were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Pumas apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in June of 2021.

Franklin has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost six of their last seven matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-10 record this season. As for Northridge Academy, they are on a roll lately: they've won 11 of their last 12 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 18-4 record this season.

As of now, neither Franklin nor Northridge Academy have any future games scheduled.
