Baseball Recap: Barker Drops Season-High Score on Perry

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Barker). They came out on top against the Perry Yellowjackets by a score of 13-8 on Saturday. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Bulldogs.

Ireland Brady made a big impact while hitting and pitching. On the mound, he pitched seven innings while giving up six earned (and two unearned) runs off nine hits. The dominant performance also gave him a new career-high in strikeouts (four). He was also big at the plate, earning one RBI, two runs, and one stolen base.

In other batting news, Noah Sandolfini was excellent, going 2-for-4 with two runs, one stolen base, and one double. That's the most runs he has posted since back in May of 2024. Another player making a difference was Jackson Prynn, who earned two runs and two stolen bases.

Barker's record is now 5-9. As for Perry, they now have a losing record of 6-7.

Barker wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next match, an 11-0 loss against Medina on the 12th. As for Perry, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 13-9 win against Letchworth on the 12th.
