Softball Recap: Huntland Comes Up Short

Tuesday just wasn't the day for Huntland's offense. They fell just short of the Moore County Raiders by a score of 1-0 on Tuesday. The Hornets were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Raiders earlier this season, when they won 10-7.

Huntland dropped their record down to 3-4 with the loss, which was their third straight on the road. As for Moore County, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 7-5 record this season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Huntland will host South Pittsburg at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Moore County, they will take on Eagleville at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
