A feisty cat fight will be fought as the Panthers face off against the Jaguars at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Plant is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 7.8 runs per game this season.

While Plant's victory against Wharton wasn't quite the blowout they won the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. Plant narrowly escaped with a win as the squad sidled past Wharton 11-10. The victory continues a trend for the Panthers in their matchups with the Wildcats: they've now won four in a row.

Kate Compton was incredible, going 3-for-4 with one home run, four RBI, and two runs. She also hit a triple, marking her first of the season. Audrey Perkins was another key player, going 3-for-4 with four RBI.

Plant was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .406. The last time their batting average was this high was back in April of 2024.

Meanwhile, while Academy of the Holy Names put up some runs on Thursday, the same can't be said for Robinson. Everything went Academy of the Holy Names' way against Robinson as Academy of the Holy Names made off with a 10-0 win. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Jaguars.

Clare Bohinick and Cameron Powell did most of the damage at the plate: Bohinick went a perfect 1-for-1 with three RBI and one double, while Powell scored a run while going 2-for-3. That's the most RBI Bohinick has posted since back in February of 2024.

Academy of the Holy Names' victory was their ninth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 2-0. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 0.9 runs on average over those games. As for Plant, they now have a winning record of 3-2.
