Softball Recap: Lakeshore Triumphs

Lakeshore won the last time they faced St. Scholastica and things went their way on Thursday too. Lakeshore walked away with a 7-2 win over St. Scholastica. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Lakeshore.

Annabella Litolff spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered just two earned runs on 11 hits. She has been consistent : she hasn't given up more than two walks in five consecutive appearances.

At the plate, Aubrey Gaudet was incredible, scoring four runs and stealing four bases while going 3-for-3. What's more, she posted two doubles, the most she's had since back in March of 2024. The team also got some help courtesy of Julia Haddad, who scored a run and stole two bases while going 2-for-5.

Lakeshore now has a winning record of 8-7. As for St. Scholastica, they now have a losing record of 7-8.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Lakeshore will welcome Mandeville at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. Lakeshore's pitchers better be ready for this one: Mandeville has averaged an impressive 9.5 runs per game this season. As for St. Scholastica, they will be playing in front of their home fans against St. Thomas Aquinas at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
