Softball Recap: Cliffside Park's Victory on Monday Extends Winning Streak to Three

Cliffside Park took a 13-run loss the last time they faced off against Hackensack, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. The Raiders narrowly escaped with a victory as the team sidled past the Comets 9-8. The win was familiar territory for the Raiders, who have now won three games in a row.

Cliffside Park's victory bumped their record up to 6-7. As for Hackensack, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-9.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Cliffside Park will challenge Teaneck at 4:15 p.m. on Wednesday. The Highwaymen have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 9.7 runs per game on average), something the Raiders will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for Hackensack, they will head out on the road to take on North Bergen at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
