With a playoff win on the line, Carroll County rose to the challenge on Friday. They secured a 64-58 W over the Cave Spring Knights. Winning may never get old, but the Cavaliers sure are getting used to it with their eighth in a row.

Bryce Smoot was his usual excellent self, putting up 21 points. His evening made it three games in a row in which he has scored at least 17 points.

Carroll County's victory was their sixth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 24-1. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 71.7 points over those games. As for Cave Spring, their loss dropped their record down to 15-11.

Carroll County didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 65-51 defeat against Northside on the 1st. Cave Spring does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
