Mater Dei (Santa Ana) returned to Southern California for a match with
Mira Costa (Manhattan Beach). The Monarchs weren't up to the challenge against the Mustangs, falling in four sets. But the aggressive scheduling only drops Mater Dei one spot while Mira Costa climbs into the No. 1 spot in this week's MaxPreps Top 25 high school volleyball rankings.
