Soccer Recap: Saturday's Win Is Bossier's Sixth in Last Seven Outings

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Barbe, Bossier was happy to have turned things around on Saturday. Their defense stepped up to hand the St. Louis Catholic Saints a 1-0 shutout. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Bearkats also won the last time the pair played back in February of 2023.

Bossier is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven contests, which provided a massive bump to their 9-5-2 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 26 goals over those seven matchups. As for St. Louis Catholic, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 3-5-2.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Bossier will welcome Calvary Baptist Academy at 12:00 p.m. on December 28th. As for St. Louis Catholic, they will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on South Beauregard at 7:00 p.m. on January 6, 2025.
