Baseball Game Preview: Dorsey Dons vs. King/Drew Golden Eagles

The Dorsey Dons will head out to face off against the King/Drew Golden Eagles at 3:00 p.m. on Monday. Dorsey is looking for their season's first victory.

Dorsey's tournament run continued when they took on Rolling Hills Prep last Saturday. The Dons lost 35-3 to the Huskies.

Meanwhile, after a string of three wins, King/Drew's good fortune finally ran out last Saturday. They fell 9-4 to Fremont.

Damian Lugo was cooking despite his team's loss, going 2-for-3 with two runs, one stolen base, and one double. He also put up an RBI, which was his first of the season. Another player making a difference was Damico Martin, who got on base in all four of his plate appearances with one stolen base, one run, and one RBI.

King/Drew's loss dropped their record down to 12-4. As for Dorsey, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-9.

Dorsey might still be hurting after the 28-0 loss they got from King/Drew in their previous meeting back in March. Can the Dons avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
