Baseball Recap: Yucaipa Find Success

Yucaipa won the last time they faced Redlands and things went their way on Thursday too. The Thunderbirds walked away with a 10-6 win over the Terriers. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Thunderbirds.

Blake McGilvary looked comfortable as he tossed two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. He has been consistent: he hasn't given up more than one hit in seven consecutive appearances.

On the hitting side, Evan Heaton was incredible, going 3-for-4 with one home run, four RBI, and one double. Connor White was another key player, going a perfect 4-for-4 with two doubles, two RBI, and one run.

Yucaipa kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 15 hits. That's the most hits they've posted since back in February.

Yucaipa's record is now 16-9. As for Redlands, they have been struggling recently as they've lost eight of their last nine matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 8-14 record this season.
