Volleyball Recap: Rouse Find Success

While Rouse's win against Ridge Point wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Raiders sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 2-1 victory over the Panthers on Friday. The Raiders have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Panthers, too.

Rouse's offense was headlined by Avery Ralston and Alyssa Hall, who picked up eight kills apiece. They got some help from Isla Ornelas and her 13 assists. Hall was also solid from the service line: she led the team with three aces.

The win got Rouse back to even at 8-8. As for Ridge Point, they have been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last eight contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-11 record this season.

Rouse has already played their next matchup, a 2-0 defeat against Johnson on the 22nd. As for Ridge Point, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 2-0 victory against Incarnate Word on the 22nd.
