Softball Recap: Reading Memorial Extends Road Winning Streak to Four

Reading Memorial hadn't beaten Arlington on the road since May 17, 2022 but that history sure didn't bother them on Thursday. The Rockets blew past the Spy Ponders 14-3. Considering the Rockets have won three contests by more than ten runs this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.

Reading Memorial's win was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 6-0. The team's perfect season has a lot to do with their hitting performance: the team's won by an average of 9 runs thus far. As for Arlington, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 3-5.

The Raiders will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something the Spy Ponders surely won't give up without a fight.
