Soccer Game Preview: Bath vs. Celina

Bath hasn't had much luck against Celina recently, but that could start to change on Monday. The Wildcats will host the Bulldogs at 6:00 p.m.

Celina better have a healthy lead at halftime, because if Bath's game on Saturday is any indication, that's when Bath really gets things going. The Wildcats blew past Lima Central Catholic 4-1. The victory continues a trend for Bath in their matchups with Lima Central Catholic: they've now won eight in a row.

Levi Grime and Peyton Liles scored all four of Bath's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 14 goals.

Meanwhile, Celina hasn't lost a match since September 13th, a trend which continued in their latest game on Saturday. Neither they nor Kalida could gain the upper hand so the two teams had to settle for a 1-1 draw. The result (or lack thereof) was the first time Celina have been dealt a draw since September 4th.

Celina's draw gives them a new season record of 6-3-3. As for Bath, the win got them back to even at 5-5-3.
