Volleyball Game Preview: Chelsea Red Devils vs. Cathedral Panthers

The Chelsea Red Devils will head out on the road to challenge the Cathedral Panthers at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.

Chelsea lost 3-0 to Revere on Wednesday. The Red Devils have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

While Chelsea was kept off the board, it wasn't for a lack of trying: they cut into Revere's winning margin in every set. The final score came out to 25-5, 25-10, 25-20.

Meanwhile, Cathedral posted their closest victory since October 7, 2024 on Tuesday. They had just enough and edged out Community Academy of Science & Health 3-2.

Chelsea's defeat dropped their record down to 1-10. As for Cathedral, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-10.

Chelsea beat Cathedral 3-1 when the teams last played back in October of 2021. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Red Devils since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
