Bartow piles up the points against Cardinal Newman

Recap: Bartow Yellow Jackets vs. Cardinal Newman Crusaders
The Bartow Yellow Jackets have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won four matchups by 23 points or more this season. They blew past Cardinal Newman, posting a 59-22 win on the road. The win was some much needed relief for Bartow as it spelled an end to their three-game losing streak.
Bartow had a senior duo take command as Rickjerlin Senior feliz dropped a double-double on 11 points and ten rebounds and Cory Butler scored 13 points. Those 13 points set a new season-high mark for him. Jemirion Butler was another key contributor, scoring six points.
Bartow now has a winning record of 7-6. As for Cardinal Newman, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 11-4.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Bartow and Lakeland will face off at 7:30 p.m. on January 4th without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. Lakeland will be looking to extend their current four-game winning streak. Cardinal Newman will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Oxbridge Academy at 5:30 p.m. on January 11th.
