Basketball Game Preview: Panorama Pythons vs. Castaic Coyotes

The Panorama Pythons will challenge the Castaic Coyotes at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Panorama is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 53.1 points per game this season.

Last Friday, Panorama came up short against Sylmar and fell 70-62. The Pythons have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Even though the team lost, they still had their share of impressive performances. One of the best came from Raphael Latorre, who posted 12 points in addition to seven steals and six assists. Panorama is 4-2 when Latorre posts five or more steals, but 5-6 otherwise. Another player making a difference was Eddie Munguia, who scored 17 points and six rebounds.

Meanwhile, Castaic lost to Golden Valley on the road by a 68-50 margin on Tuesday. The loss continues a trend for the Coyotes in their matchups with the Grizzlies: they've now lost eight in a row.

Panorama's defeat dropped their record down to 9-8. As for Castaic, they now have a losing record at 10-11.
