Conestoga Valley came into Friday's game looking for another win against Exeter Township, but Leomar Brown wouldn't allow it. The Eagles came out on top against the Buckskins by a score of 41-34 on Friday with plenty of help from Brown, who rushed for 220 yards and three touchdowns while picking up 7.9 yards per carry. His rushing production has been exceptional for a while as that marked his 11th straight game with at least 122 rushing yards.
Jayden Ware was another key player, picking up 118 receiving yards and a pair of TDs. His longest reception was for an incredible 77 yards.
Conestoga Valley's defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Sawyer Esbenshade, who threw for 301 yards and three touchdowns. Konner Fisher was in the mix as well, providing the Buckskins with two scores.
The victory was the third in a row for Exeter Township, bringing their record up to 10-2. As for Conestoga Valley, their loss was their first of the season and makes their record 10-1.
Exeter Township wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next matchup, a 42-0 defeat against Bishop McDevitt on the 14th. Conestoga Valley does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
