Preview: Crawford County Wolfpack vs. Perry Central Commodores
Crawford County and Perry Central are an even 5-5 against one another since December of 2017, but not for long. The two teams will face off at 6:30 p.m. on January 16th without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. Crawford County will be strutting in after a victory while Perry Central will be coming in after a loss.
Crawford County had to endure a four-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They had just enough and edged Corydon Central out 39-37. The victory was just what Crawford County needed coming off of a 54-22 defeat in their prior game.
Crawford County's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Blake Seibert, who dropped a double-double on 16 points and ten rebounds. Zander Sattler was another key contributor, scoring eight points along with five rebounds and four steals.
Meanwhile, things could have been worse for Perry Central, but they could have been a whole lot better as they took a 59-44 loss to Forest Park last Saturday.
Crawford County's win ended a four-game drought at home and bumped them up to 2-13. As for Perry Central, their loss dropped their record down to 4-9.
