Basketball Game Preview: Lutheran Lions vs. Lewis-Palmer Rangers

The Lutheran Lions will venture away from home to square off against the Lewis-Palmer Rangers at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Lutheran has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.

Lutheran is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They put the hurt on Discovery Canyon with a sharp 71-50 victory on Tuesday. The win continues a trend for the Lions in their matchups with the Thunder: they've now won six in a row.

Meanwhile, Lewis-Palmer was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap on Tuesday as they fell 42-37 to Palmer Ridge. The defeat continues a trend for the Rangers in their matchups with the Bears: they've now lost three in a row.

Lewis-Palmer's loss dropped their record down to 11-9. As for Lutheran, the victory got them back to even at 10-10.

Lutheran strolled past Lewis-Palmer when the teams last played back in January by a score of 53-36. The rematch might be a little tougher for Lutheran since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
