Basketball Game Preview: Shakamak Lakers vs. North Knox Warriors

The Shakamak Lakers are taking a road trip to square off against the North Knox Warriors at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Given that both suffered a loss in their last game, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this match.

Last Saturday, Shakamak came up short against Sullivan and fell 47-36. The Lakers haven't had much luck with the Golden Arrows recently, as the team's come up short the last eight times they've met.

Meanwhile, North Knox was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their eighth straight loss dating back to last season. They took a hard 68-51 fall against South Knox.

Shakamak now has a losing record at 1-2. As for North Knox, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-3.

Shakamak didn't have too much breathing room in their game against North Knox when the teams last played back in December of 2023, but they still walked away with a 59-53 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for Shakamak since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
