Soccer Game Preview: Spanish Fork vs. Wasatch

Spanish Fork hasn't had much luck against Wasatch recently, but that could start to change on Thursday. The Spanish Fork Dons will host the Wasatch Wasps at 7:00 p.m. Spanish Fork will be strutting in after a win while Wasatch will be coming in after a loss.

Spanish Fork made up a huge gap compared to their last game against Cedar, but they still couldn't quite topple them. Spanish Fork's defense stepped up to hand Cedar an 8-0 shutout on Saturday. Max Beagley was a massive factor in the win as he booted in three goals all by himself.

Meanwhile, there was early excitement for Wasatch after they claimed the first score on Tuesday, but it was Lone Peak who ended up claiming the real prize. Wasatch took a 4-2 hit to the loss column at the hands of Lone Peak.

Wasatch's defeat dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Spanish Fork, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-2.

Spanish Fork might still be hurting after the 3-0 loss they got from Wasatch in their previous matchup back in April of 2024. Can Spanish Fork avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
