Softball Recap: Douglas Comes Up Short

Douglas managed to slip by Arab the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Eagles lost 10-1 to the Knights on Monday. The matchup marked the Eagles' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Douglas saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Abbi Collins, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base, one double, and one RBI.

Douglas' loss dropped their record down to 15-6. As for Arab, they pushed their record up to 10-14-1 with the win, which was their third straight on the road.

Looking ahead, Douglas will head out to challenge Albertville at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Arab, they will face off against Fairview at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
