Basketball Game Preview: Wilcox County Patriots vs. Bowdon Red Devils

The Wilcox County Patriots will face off against the Bowdon Red Devils on Friday. Both teams are coming into the contest red-hot, with Wilcox County sitting on 19 straight victories and Bowdon on 12.

Wilcox County is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Tuesday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Brooks County 71-43. The Patriots have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 20 matchups by 22 points or more this season.

Meanwhile, even if it wasn't a dominant performance, Bowdon beat Macon County 61-57 on Tuesday.

Bowdon's win bumped their record up to 22-7. As for Wilcox County, their victory bumped their record up to 27-1.

Wilcox County didn't have too much breathing room in their game against Bowdon in their previous meeting back in February of 2020, but they still walked away with a 45-39 win.
