Waggener won the last time they faced Iroquois and things went their way on Thursday too. The Wildcats were the clear victors by a 13-1 margin over the Raiders. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Wildcats.

Carsen Ruwe made a splash while hitting and pitching. He looked comfortable on the mound, pitching 1.2 innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. The dominant performance also gave him a new career-high in strikeouts (four). He was even better at the plate, getting on base in all three of his plate appearances with four stolen bases and three runs. He has become a key player for Waggener: the team is undefeated when he posts at least two runs, but 1-9 otherwise.
