Baseball Recap: South Hills' Run of Three Straight Victories Now Over

Saturday just wasn't the day for South Hills's offense. They took a 3-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Bowie Volunteers on Saturday. Having soared to a lofty 13 runs in the game before, the Scorpions' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

The loss snapped South Hills' winning streak at three games and leaves them with a 7-10-2 record. As for Bowie, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 18-6 record this season.

As for Bowie, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Arlington at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Arlington will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something Bowie surely won't give up without a fight.
