Basketball Recap: Greenwood Now 6-2 over Last Eight Games

If Easley wanted to avenge their loss from the last time they played Greenwood, they should've done a better job of containing Cj Terrell. The Greenwood Eagles came out on top against the Easley Green Wave by a score of 72-64 on Friday thanks in part to Terrell, who dropped a double-double on 26 points and 14 rebounds. That's the most boards he has posted since back in November of 2024.

Greenwood is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last eight matches, which provided a nice bump to their 12-5 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 64.8 points per game. As for Easley, their defeat ended an eight-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 11-8.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Greenwood will host J.L. Mann at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Easley, they will welcome Mauldin at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Easley has been dominant on offense recently, having racked up an incredible 203 points over their last three contests.
