Volleyball Recap: St. Francis Snaps Four-Game Streak of Losses on the Road + How To Watch

St. Francis won the last time they faced Riverside-Brookfield and things went their way on Monday too. The Spartans sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 2-1 victory over the Bulldogs. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Spartans have posted since October 4th.

It was an exciting match in which no team won back-to-back sets, but at the end of the day St. Francis got the one that really mattered. The match finished with set scores of 25-18, 18-25, 25-21.

St. Francis' win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Addi Samolinski, who had 15 digs and four assists. That's the most digs Samolinski has posted over her last eight matchups. The team also got some help courtesy of Kathryn Kopec, who had nine digs and one assist.

St. Francis' victory ended a four-match drought on the road and puts them at 22-12. As for Riverside-Brookfield, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 18-14.
