Cleveland is 9-1 against Farmington since February of 2016 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Friday. The Storm will head out on the road to take on the Scorpions at 4:00 p.m. Cleveland is coming into the contest hot, having won their last four games.

Cleveland is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of New Mexico's top teams: Cibola, who was ranked seventh at the time (Cleveland was ranked fifth). The Storm came out on top against the Cougars by a score of 13-8 on Thursday.

Meanwhile, after a string of four wins, Farmington's good fortune finally ran out on Wednesday. They fell just short of Rio Rancho by a score of 10-9.

Farmington's loss dropped their record down to 13-4. As for Cleveland, their win bumped their record up to 12-5.

Cleveland came out on top in a nail-biter against Farmington in their previous meeting back in April of 2024, sneaking past 7-5. Will the Storm repeat their success, or do the Scorpions have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
