Minnoch came up big in Bonneville's 6-0 loss
While Bonneville might've come up empty on Wednesday, Landon Minnoch wasn't going down without a fight. Box Elder had no answer to Minnoch as he struck out six batters over four innings while giving up just one earned (and two unearned) runs off two hits.
Even though Minnoch couldn't lead Bonneville over Box Elder, he won't have to wait long to try again: the teams have a rematch scheduled at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday. Minnoch has dominated as far as hits are concerned (he's averaged 1.2 per game this season), but he's got his work cut out for him considering Box Elder has only allowed 6.04 per game this season.
