Kaden Smith Game Report: vs South Newton

For the first time in his career, Kaden Smith scored a receiving touchdown on Friday. He picked up 37 receiving yards and a pair of TDs as Covington took down South Newton 45-0. We judged Friday's contest Smith's most productive, but we don't think it'll stay that way for long.

Coming up, Smith and Covington are headed away from home for the first time to face off against North Vermillion at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Trojans have some work to do to even out the 2-8 series between these two since September of 2017, but a win here would be a good start.
