Basketball Recap: South Panola Takes a Loss

If South Panola was riding high fresh off their 69-36 takedown of Crittenden County last Saturday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The South Panola Tigers took a hard 75-59 fall against the DeSoto Central Jaguars on Saturday. The Tigers haven't had much luck with the Jaguars recently, as the team's come up short the last four times they've met.

South Panola's defeat dropped their record down to 5-13. As for DeSoto Central, the victory was the tenth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 15-4.

South Panola will face off against Saltillo at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Saltillo has been dominant on offense recently, having racked up an incredible 218 points over their last three contests. As for DeSoto Central, they will square off against Oxford at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
