Softball Recap: Lumen Christi Catholic Comes Up Short

Saturday just wasn't the day for Lumen Christi Catholic's offense. They fell 3-0 to the Columbia Central Golden Eagles on Saturday. The Titans haven't had much luck with the Golden Eagles recently, as the team has come up short the last six times they've met.

Lily Ganton was cooking despite her team's loss, going a perfect 3-for-3 with one triple.

Lumen Christi Catholic's defeat dropped their record down to 24-9. As for Columbia Central, their victory bumped their record up to 14-3.

Coming up, Lumen Christi Catholic will welcome Adrian at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Columbia Central, they are taking a road trip to square off against Grass Lake at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Golden Eagles 1.9, the Warriors 3.3) so any runs scored will be well earned.
