Volleyball Recap: South Gets the Win

South posted their closest win since March 1st on Saturday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Gabrielino Eagles, sneaking past 2-1. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Spartans.

South's victory bumped their record up to 8-6. As for Gabrielino, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-7 record this season.

South will be taking part in a tournament against Castaic at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Gabrielino, they will challenge El Monte at 3:30 p.m. on Monday. Gabrielino is facing El Monte at the right time seeing as El Monte is stuck on a three-game losing streak.
