Soccer Recap: JAG Comes Up Short

After flying high against Park Crossing last Wednesday, JAG came back down to earth. The Volunteers lost 7-0 to the Brewbaker Tech Rams on Monday. The defeat continues a trend for JAG in their meetings with Brewbaker Tech: they've now lost five in a row.

JAG's loss dropped their record down to 1-6. As for Brewbaker Tech, they have been performing well recently as they've won seven of their last nine matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-1-5 record this season.

JAG is taking a road trip to square off against Montgomery Academy at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. JAG will be up against Montgomery Academy's rather soft defense (which has allowed four goals per contest), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Brewbaker Tech, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Beauregard at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
