Basketball Recap: Jupiter Christian Makes It Six in a Row on the Road

Jupiter Christian extended their road winning streak to six games thanks to a huge performance from Jordan Rivera. The Jupiter Christian Eagles blew past the Somerset College Prep Academy Spartans 69-49 on Friday thanks in part to Rivera, who went 9 of 15 on his way to 29 points in addition to seven boards and three steals. The matchup was his third in a row with at least ten points.

Matthew Barrett was another key player, dropping a double-double on 11 points and 14 rebounds. Barrett is crushing it when it comes to boards: he's pulled down at least nine every time he's taken the court this season.

Despite the loss, Somerset College Prep Academy still got an impressive performance from William Tracey, who went 6 for 10 en route to 18 points and five rebounds. Those 18 points gave Tracey a new career-high. Nicholas Angelastro also deserves some recognition as he posted his first block of the season.

Jupiter Christian is on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last nine games, which provided a massive bump to their 10-7 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 67.0 points per game. As for Somerset College Prep Academy, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-13.
