Volleyball Recap: Lafayette Takes a Loss

Lafayette lost against Maryville back in September of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Fighting Irish lost 3-0 to the Spoofhounds. The Fighting Irish have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

The final score came out to 25-12, 25-14, 25-11.

Lafayette's defeat dropped their record down to 6-6. As for Maryville, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-4 record this season.

Lafayette will head out to square off against St. Joseph Christian at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Maryville, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 3-2 loss against Central on the 22nd.
