Softball Recap: Tri-City Christian Falls Short of Southwest EC in the Playoffs

Despite a phenomenal run in the regular season, Tri-City Christian couldn't carry that success into this playoff game. They came up short against Southwest EC on Wednesday, falling 7-1. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss Tri-City Christian has suffered since April 10, 2024.

Tri-City Christian saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Erykah Juarez, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with one run.

Tri-City Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 17-6-1. As for Southwest EC, they have been performing well recently as they've won 11 of their last 14 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 17-8 record this season.

Tri-City Christian does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Southwest EC, they will take on Canyon Hills at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. The Rattlers' pitching crew has only allowed 2.3 runs per game this season, so the Eagles' hitters will have their work cut out for them.
