Volleyball Recap: Moorcroft Wolves vs. Central Indians
Moorcroft was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They might be feeling deja-vu: they lost 2-0 to the Central Indians, which was the same score (and result) they got the week prior. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Wolves of the 2-1 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in September of 2022.
The final score came out to 25-19, 25-16.
Moorcroft's loss dropped their record down to 1-4. As for Central, the victory snapped their losing streak at six games and leaves them with a 3-7 record.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Moorcroft will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Wright at 2:30 p.m. on September 20th. Moorcroft is facing Wright at the right time seeing as Wright is stuck on a four-game losing streak. As for Central, they will be staying on the road on Friday to face off against Campbell County at 6:00 p.m. Campbell County is coming into the game with four straight wins at home, so Central will have to stop a team with plenty of momentum.
