Tipton is 8-2 against Tri-Central since April of 2016 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Monday. The Blue Devils will host the Trojans at 5:00 p.m. Tri-Central took a loss in their last match and will be looking to turn the tables on Tipton, who comes in off a win.

Tipton is headed in fresh off scoring the most runs they have all season. They walked away with a 13-9 victory over Eastbrook on Saturday. The win was some much needed relief for the Blue Devils as it spelled an end to their seven-game losing streak.

Kellen Hussong was a standout: he went 1-for-2 with three runs, one stolen base, and one double. That's the most runs he has posted since back in April of 2024. The team also got some help courtesy of Caleb Hare, who went 2-for-4 with three runs, one double, and one RBI.

Tipton always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .537. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.

Meanwhile, while it was Tri-Central who put the first runs on the board on Saturday, it was Greenwood Christian Academy who put up more. The Trojans lost 19-6 to the Cougars. The Trojans have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Jacob Cline was cooking despite his team's loss, going 3-for-4 with five RBI and one triple. That triple was his first of the season.

Tri-Central's loss dropped their record down to 3-9. As for Tipton, their victory bumped their record up to 4-14.

Tipton was able to grind out a solid win over Tri-Central in their previous matchup back in May of 2024, winning 7-3. Will the Blue Devils repeat their success, or do the Trojans have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
