Softball Recap: Red Oak Comes Up Short

Monday just wasn't the day for Red Oak's offense. They lost 10-0 to the East Union Eagles on Monday. The Tigers just can't catch a break and have now endured three losses in a row.

Red Oak's defeat dropped their record down to 1-6. As for East Union, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-2.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming matchups. Red Oak will head out to face off against Shenandoah at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Mustangs and Fillies have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed nine runs per game on average), something the Tigers will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for East Union, they will head out on the road to take on Southeast Warren at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
