Basketball Recap: Motivation Takes a Loss

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Motivation can now relate to. They fell to the Liguori Academy Falcons 57-53. The Jaguars just can't catch a break and have now endured three defeats in a row.

Despite the loss, Motivation still got an impressive performance from Chace White, who on his way to 25 points. Another player making a difference was Daimir Wesby-Pannell, who posted ten points and five rebounds.

Liguori Academy got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Naiem Scott-Allen out in front who to rack up 18 points. Scott-Allen continues to improve, besting his previous point total in each of the last three games he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Rydee Miller, who en route to 14 points.

Motivation's loss dropped their record down to 15-10. As for Liguori Academy, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five games. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-11 record this season.

As of now, neither Motivation nor Liguori Academy have any future games scheduled.
