Baseball Recap: Adams Central Gets the Win

Adams Central never got on the board in their matchup on Friday, but that sure wasn't the case in their game against Taylor on Saturday. They put the hurt on the Titans with a sharp 15-2 win. The Flying Jets not only won on Saturday, but they posted their biggest win since May 14, 2024 (when they won 20-3).

Jami Roach made a splash while hitting and pitching. He looked comfortable on the mound, keeping things locked down with no earned runs or hits while striking out nine over four innings pitched. Roach was also big at the plate, getting on base in all three of his plate appearances with two stolen bases, two runs, and two RBI.

In other batting news, Joey Everett was incredible, going a perfect 3-for-3 with two stolen bases, three RBI, and one run. Another player making a difference was Ethan Funk, who went 2-for-3 with two runs, one stolen base, and one RBI.

Adams Central was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .500. The last time their batting average was this high was back in May of 2024.
