Volleyball Recap: Heritage Beats Douglas County for Their Fourth Straight Win

Heritage waltzed into their contest on Saturday with three straight wins... but they left with four. They came within a single set of losing the streak, but they secured a 3-2 W against the Douglas County Huskies. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Eagles have posted since September 16th.

Heritage's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Becca Alvarez led the charge by getting 19 digs and three assists. Those 19 digs gave Alvarez a new career-high. Anneclaire Fieger was another key player, getting eight digs.

Heritage's victory bumped their record up to 14-9. As for Douglas County, the loss snapped their winning streak at four matches and leaves them with a 12-9 record.

Heritage does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Douglas County, they will be playing at home against Village at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
