WARRENTON, Ore. -
Forrest Garcia ran for two touchdowns and
Jered White added two as well as
Dayton (Ore.) beat Warrenton (Ore.) 56-0 on Saturday.
The Pirates were up 50-0 at the half after taking the lead on a punt return touchdown by White in the first quarter.
Dayton expanded its lead to 56 points entering the fourth quarter. DHS scored once in the quarter on a touchdown run.
A 29-point second quarter helped the Pirates secure the big victory. Dayton scored on a touchdown run by Garcia, a defensive touchdown, a White touchdown run and a
Nathan Bernards touchdown pass to
Justin Sutton in the quarter.
DHS had given up an average of 10.6 points prior to the contest.
