Basketball Recap: Bedford Takes a Loss

Bedford was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They fell 56-43 to the Central Dragons. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Bisons of the 50-42 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in December of 2023.

When it comes to explaining why Bedford lost, don't look at Jacob Wilson. Despite the final result, he posted 14 points. Another player making a difference was Quincy Swaim, who put up nine points along with five assists and five rebounds.

Bedford's loss dropped their record down to 3-18. As for Central, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won nine of their last ten matches, which provided a nice bump to their 17-4 record this season.

Looking ahead, Bedford will face off against Carrick at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Bedford is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 50.3 points per game this season. As for Central, they have already played their next contest, a 67-48 win against Penns Valley Area on the 14th.
